Correct. (Well, 90 octane gas, which is the lowest grade you can get here, was just above $7 per gallon last time I passed a gas station, and the top income tax came down last year from nearly 60% to just above 50%, but close enough) Whatever you do, don't try that in the US! |

Bush was a lovely guy. I don't know of anyone who has met him who did not like the guy. His track record as president was decent, but he made a big mistake on Iraq. |

So I just like to get this cleared up, Trump policies getting us to oil independence, fracking, oil pipelines, less EPA restrictions, USA worlds #1 oil producer , for his term prices around $2
Biden: stop fracking, hates oil, stops pipelines, EPA regulations are back , wants us all to run on electric, etc etc . 3 months into his term prices up $1 per gallon in Ilinois. But presidents don`t control the price of oil? Okay got it. https://cimg3.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.off...5117c8d876.jpg Well, if Trump had not mismanaged COVID and brought the US to a deep recession, oil prices would certainly have been higher since demand would have been a lot higher. The US economy uses a lot of hydrocarbons. So in that respect, he certainly influenced oil prices. US oil and gas production increased because of huge advances in fracking technology. Trump did not have anything to do with those. US oil and gas production was increasing well before Trump took office as you can see from this chart: https://www.eia.gov/todayinenergy/detail.php?id=44356 |

look at that climb starting in early november... What happened then?
If you go back and read the news from November - and I mean the kind of news that people whose homes don't have wheels read, not what some guy posted on Facebook - you will learn that crude prices started increasing in November for three main reasons: 1. US production was lower than expected (I.e. expectations that supply would be lower) 2. There were positive news about COVID vaccines (I.e. expectations that demand would be higher as life returns to normal) 3. The US dollar was weakening, and oil typically moves in the opposite direction to the US dollar

It has claimed more than 500 000 lives in America and more than 2 500 000 lives in the world overall. That includes people I know.__PRESENT You obviously have no idea what goes on in the US. It`s exactly your liberal thinking that got you your 50% tax rate and $7 gas prices , we`re trying to avoid that mess here in the US you idiot. |

Biden won the election by more than 7 million votes. That is an undisputable fact. He won by 74 Electoral College votes. That is also an indisputable fact. When Trump won by 77 Electoral College votes over Clinton (the other Clinton, that is), he called that a landslide. |
