Whatever happened to influenza? Seems like no one has died from that. According to the cdc average death toll was between 45k and 65k people a year in the U.S. Not sure what the world wide numbers have been.

Might want to look at the state of Florida. Unlike California and New York, our businesses are open and responsible Americans are living their lives and their businesses are doing well. Our numbers are as good and typically better than states that are sheltering in place. Im NOT saying this is a scam but I am saying it was blown out of proportion and was weaponized politically.

Recession? You cant be serious... The market is at 31,XXX today and if you are a naysayer that the market is not an indicator then explain to me what sectors are doing poorly. There is no point in history that 100% of the country experienced exponential growth. Assuming the COVID pandemic, the economy is doing extraordinarily well.

We were in Estero, Fl for thanksgiving. Aside from the big box stores requiring masks everything was normal. By comparison, in Ohio at the time bars and restaurants were closing at 10 and masks required everywhere indoors, cannot walk with a drink in my hand at a bar. I was watching the numbers in Florida and Ohio while we were there. Most days the cases were pretty close with one day Florida having three more cases. It frustrated me that they were that open and had the same number of cases. It infuriated me when I realized Florida has about double the population.

On a side note gas gas gas dropped here from $2.79 to $2.71 for 87.

Is Costco, (at least it was in Fla.), still selling Russian sourced gas?

1. US production was lower than expected (I.e. expectations that supply would be lower)
2. There were positive news about COVID vaccines (I.e. expectations that demand would be higher as life returns to normal)
3. The US dollar was weakening, and oil typically moves in the opposite direction to the US dollar

I read they buy gasoline from refineries/distributors closest to their locations. 93octane was $2.83 gal at the Costco in Traverse City, northern Michigan today. Obviously you need to make up the membership costs across all your purchases.

OMG!!! I just left my neighbors house and saw on tv the damn democrats are now turning on each other! I bet that Cuomo wishes Trump was still in office. He wasn't scared to grab a kitty from time to time.

I think you answered your own question in an earlier post.
