That is not repairable. Cold joint repair will never be safe again. Hull / deck are still available NEW.

I have read about the Apache boats for years and years and seem the videos on YouTube. What makes them so good in the rough? Was it the bottom design, stringer grid or just a heavy layup?

The 47’s look awesome flying through the air and they have a legendary following, but would like to understand what made them so good.

My post is definitely not questioning their reputation.

That was Lorne's baby... interesting to see what the future holds for it as the history behind the boat (was also Kramer's own race boat....) is it took him years to get it back after he sold it once.

Interesting damage... especially after seeing what Bellinger (sp?) did with Razz - granted 2 very different layups

Boats break. New mystic and skater race boats have broke new. Airplanes have a duty cycle. It’s a boat not the holy grail. I’m sure it will get fixed and get right back at it.

Watched the vid a few days ago, its was one of the top 10 runs through that inlet IMO, not a surprise @ 47' a fracture would take place, he exercise's the boat and hopefully he'll become a repeat offender so others can see it. Hats of sir !!!
