How I can do that? The number plate is very old and from a foreign country...

I don't know how 'boat things' operate where you are but in most places there is a licensing authority for marine craft . They must be registered to operate in local waters and registration results in the numbers you see on the bow. And to have operated in your waters that number should be a Spanish issued one .
As an example , out here if a boat is found floating crewless or has been abandoned illegally on someone's property those registration numbers are used to locate the owners .
As a matter of fact occasionally a foreign boat or it's remains is found floating in our territorial waters and the local authorities have traced ownership back to point of origin .
Is there a Spanish recreational/commercial vessel registry there ? If that number was issued in your country then some government agency ought to be able to find out who it belongs to.

Maybe I missed something, apologies if I did but if the boat is at a marina he's paying a fee to keep it there, can't you go to the office and see who's paying the bills?

Although it could have been lost in translation I believe the OP said that the photos are from google earth 2019 records and the boat is no longer in that location .

Even beinga couple years ago, I bet someone at the marina knows something about that boat. I would call them if I wanted info on it.

Exactly as Madbouyz said, the ship is no longer there since approximately the end of 2019 ... Maybe now it is, which I don't think but who knows ... I will confirm it shortly since I will be there again, for the moment I can call... I will inform of that call!

Benjale87 08-02-2021 08:28 PM

Anyway, it has been standing there for many years, surely it was abandoned and because of its sentimental value or something like that, it was there, I don't think anyone paid a fee to be standing and more so as a foreigner, hopefully all doubts will be resolved when I asked for

So ... What do you think of this boat, its condition, what is its value ... What would you do ... I know that it is difficult to give an opinion, but to do it with the photos that are there

Have a look at this thread….

https://www.offshoreonly.com/forums/...-38-resto.html

This is a similar boat that has been left outside for a while. The OP is doing an amazing restoration. You don’t need to read the whole thread, have a look at the pictures in the first post to get an idea of what you might find in an old boat. Most people wouldn’t take on a job that big, it takes a fanatic with good skills and a lot of patience.

Without knowing a lot more about the boat you’ve been following, it could be a wreck. Transom, stringers, floor, interior, electrical, and that’s before you even look at the engines!

Good luck.

Thank you very much for teaching me such a good thread, how good to see someone restore these beauties, and if ... You are not wrong in anything you say ... I was currently looking for information about the ship, etc ... Maybe one day I ended up the same as that thread, at the moment I am informing myself of everything, so thank you. And as you say, it would be a super hard job and a lot of patience but that is really nice and in terms of costs, they will also be high but with love and affection haha.

And regarding the condition of the ship, it would be something similar to that insurance, perhaps a little better because it is a little more modern I think ... And it has not been standing since the year 90, it has been a little less ... But who knows, and the engines really looked whole but I don't know in what state. Not very good I guess, what would you do ??? Would they get into a project like that? I really love that boat hahaha
