What an incredible boat and an incredible piece of history. As someone already mentioned that paint is so tastefully done. It’s like vintage champagne that never goes bad.
Hoping it goes to a good / worthy home… amazing boat |
I feel like I was transported back in time looking at the videos and photos. What an incredible piece of history.

I hope whoever buys this boat uses the Apache on the water driving out of Haulover, and not as a trailer queen/collector’s garage piece. This Apache wont win the title of “Blue Top Legend”, but it is a legend amongst ALL offshore hotrods. I love this boat! I am not bidding $1,000,000 for it, it should be interesting what the highest bid will be. enjoy your holiday weekend ! |
Just to put the rumors to rest, its going to be on BaT (Bring a Trailer) for a week, there will be a reserve. as par the course the owner will handle it professionally and properly.

You are stirring the pot, and staring sh*t with a crazy comment about a beast of a boat.

It was being used in the Haulover inlet.............and a 47 is certainly more of a beast than a 41 https://www.offshoreonly.com/forums/...he-killin.html |

BAT gets insane money for almost everything on that site so I'd expect this Apache to be no different |
I saw the video, I read the thread, and I read where a 30+/- year old race boat, was/is still running strong. Argument over how it can be fixed (if yes or no) was discussed and I believe it is fixable. So if the Haulover Inlet thread now has you concerned that this 41' Apache, Warpath, may fail (which has less in length than the #69 yellow 47' Apache, so the longitudinal stress would be less in a 41' versus a 47'), if that is your point that Apache's can't take a wave after 30 years and that Warpath maybe subject to the same hull failure - is that your point of contention? Insane!
You are grossly mistaken, and you may appear biased against the brand. Do you believe there is and or was a better built race or pleasure V bottom out there, with the hull structural integrity, and or operational safety of an 41' Apache? If so tell us. Not being a ball buster, but this banter is much better than the Covid thread! Yes I watched this Haulover Inlet video of the 47' yellow #69: |

Warpath is an awesome piece of history, I think it would be the hit of any poker run but I wouldn't go out and beat it up out of respect for the boat and its age regardless of the insane amount it will likely sell for next week. |

Apaches are legendary, no doubt but they are all getting old so there could be some failures in any fiberglass 35+ year old boat regardless of the brand if you go out there and run the balls off them like it is the Key West Worlds 1985 all over again. A Porsche 962 from back in the day might have some of the same issues if you show up at Sebring and recreate the 24 hour race.

I agree with your assessment of the boat, it's age and the analogy of the 962. |
