A Porsche shouldn’t have the issues they dealt with. No $110k+ car should - especially a press vehicle.

And while the record was broken, to me this does not show a real-world cross country experience. But that’s just me.

I’m not against electric, and had the value of my Hellcat not went up considerably, I might have moved to a Model S (because I like the car). But I know full on well that a battery-powered vehicle is far from being good for the environment (I know that’s not the subject of this response to Interceptor’s post - just making a statement).

Honestly, our Model 3 charges so fast, it's annoying. Back in my my day my 2013 Model S, I'd plug in and have a nice meal out. Now, you barely have time to take a leak and grab a burger! and that's just the advancements in 6 years. In another 6-10, it's only getting better.

Not to mention 99.9% of the time, I charge at home, so every day I have zero hassles with going out of my way or planning to 'refuel'. It's been since 2015 (bought my first one used), that I've been to a gas station for car.
I'm currently looking at the Rivian Pickup, CyberTruck, Ford Lightning, and Chevy Silverado, and even the RAM EV. It's an incredibly exciting time!

The Rivan is not cheap, but might be able to tow my boat, same with the CyberTruck and Ford, I think the Chevy can't. Still waiting on info about the Ram.

I would do the Cybertruck just because it would make me feel like Mad Max! The thing I was trying to get was the range when pulling about 10,000 lbs, particularly since looking at a lot of the charging sites you would have to unhook the trailer. Not fun.

I get that ICE. All of that. What I do like about the truck is 14k pound tow rating and 0-60 in 2.9 secs. Also how many of the trucks have you seen on the road? Me none. Corvettes are a dime a dozen. Im actually quite burned out on them because they are on every corner. Literally...

Give the cyber truck a year or two and you will see them just the same. When my wife bought her Alfa Romeo SUV we didnt see one on the road for about 6 months.....now i spot them everywhere....still not that common as a toyota camry but i see one almost every day now. Theres a Rivian truck that lives somewhere around the neighborhood of where i work...seen it so many times its just another truck now on the road now....it stood out for the first 5-6 times i saw it now its no big deal.
