it’s not that we don’t think we will be flooded with electric cars, we are letting the blind know that electric cars are not green by any means, as much as our ignorant govt is trying to hide this.

Quick and easy test.

1. get inside your fossil fuel burning car, inside your garage
2. start engine and take a nice nap.

I'll do the same with my Model X. Go.

Lol.
Close off, in a room, the typical power source of our electricity, take a nap and then report back if you can.

How about you run a typical car in india /china/etc in a garage the same time i run a typical car in usa, last man alive wins. It was nice knowing you. My condolences to your family.

Let me know when you want to do this. :wink

i’ve worked in northern (ie:garage doors closed) garages my whole life. Each decade has brought on extremely noticeable differences. In the 80’s was hard to deal with few minutes of car inside even with hoses. Now, same exact size shop, can be inside for 1/2 hr? 1hr ? Longer ? Car running no hoses.

Easier test. Let's do the same but drive from New York to California and see who gets their first....if you get there.

Go.

This was pretty good.
A standard 2021 Porsche Taycan has broken the Guinness World Record for the shortest charging time to cross the United States in an electric vehicle. It only needed a cumulative charge time of 2 hours, 26 minutes and 48 seconds to cover a 2,834.5-mile drive from Los Angeles to New York.Jan 28, 2022 https://www.thedrive.com/news/38578/...all-run-record

Hahaha. That is cool. I would stick with my original challenge though. Point A to Point B long distant. infastructure for electric vehicles just isn't there...YET.

I do like that Taycan, I must admit. Reminds me of a funny story. I think my neighbors own stock in Tesla, they're all about it. have like 4. I asked if they'd seen the new Taycan or Karma and they almost got offended. Sorry, but Freakin' Teslas are the bayliners of the road. They're EVERYWHERE and they're all the same. Reminds me of the borg. No soul. No individuality. I like Elon, dig Space X. Again, just don't think the battery rage is all it's being sold to us as. It's not as green as the press releases and the news makes it out to be. The information is super manipulative. Leaves a bad taste in my mouth.
