I love watching these videos! Thank god there are people out there that run these boats on the edge so I can get the adrenaline rush without being in the boat! I have no desire to ride in a triple digit cat without being in control of it myself. With that being said....I love watching these videos!

Mike didn’t die in the crash, he died from a surgery complication after the crash. Yes the injuries that required surgery were sustained in the crash, but didn’t exactly kill him.

It seems to me that this thread got off topic due to people coming out and judging how a boat owner chooses to operate his boat with a driver who is fully aware of what could go wrong, and chose to be part of the ride. No other boat traffic or liabilities in the area if something was to go bad.
who are we to make a judgment on a man using his equipment the way he wants to and not endangering innocent boaters?

I would be pretty upset if someone talked smack about me if If I was out running hard with just me and my son in the boat not endangering anyone. If i flip or stuff it my call...

Yves is probably a much more skilled driver then those critiquing his abilities... I'll take my boats to their limits but never with guest onboard, so if it goes south in a hurry (which it can) only I and my willing son will pay the consequence.

I have enjoyed the video as well, I have played it a few times. I will probably never even be a passenger in a big fast cat, so I appreciate when someone takes the time to post a video. As far as how close it was to going poorly I have no clue therefore no opinion. To me it looked a bit sketchy a couple of times but again I have no experience.
