👌 you tend to do that when your drives begin to surface and you’ll notice he’s out of the water frequently. At that speed in those conditions ya gotta be quick.

Definitely looks like an adrenaline fuelled ride! I've done some high speed stuff in cars so I'm familiar with the rush but nothing anywhere close to this on the ocean. Question - I imagine tearing up a prop like that at high RPM's would cause some massive vibrations; so would there be a likelihood of collateral damage to the outdrive as a result?

I read #7.
The guy has been doing these stunts for a long time. And presumably has many hours at the helm.
So maybe he does suck at operating hot rod boats or maybe he runs them on the brink all the time, which then increases the chances of crap happening.
I'm not going to judge his ability.
There's been top echelons in the sport die from mishaps.
In regard to water conditions? It's definitely subjective and relative. Call it what you will.
The video doesn't depict the water accurately at all.
The video description on Youtube says 3' to 4' seas.
So that's what I'm going off of.
I myself have a hard time calling any water that's launching a 50' Skater as such in the video mild.
He has other videos of him doing 180 and another just says 100+. The boat isn't anywhere near getting launched like in the embedded video. YMMV.

It`s all fun and games till you kill someone.
I`m surprised this guy is able to get insurance when he`s got a death on his hands.
Really smart putting this on the web. The next accident this tape will be evidence #1

who said he has insurance? Write a check for the boat, umbrella policy or storage coverage policy for the boat itself and done.
