Always read your policy once it's in your hands, insurance agents have been known to change the horsepower on a submittal to the actual insurer.

Ok so what's the pros and cons on wraps? If the paint doesn't grow on me I'm gonna wrap the boat. Any recommendations for Illinois. If you have a wrapped boat please share a few pictures. Thanks Jeramy

State Farm is most likely full of it, unfortunately. When I bought my 25 outlaw my aunts office said oh yea no problem, got a quote and everything. Then it went through underwriting, after I bought the boat, and they can back and said oh sorry no we can’t do that type of boat.

For shots I had a local Am Fam guy give me a quote for my 38ZR. Came back super cheap!... according to them it only has one engine

What these guys have gone thru , seemingly Happens a lot. Do a search. Ins is a legalized mafia. and most don’t give 2 f’s.
If you run into issues, there are a few active ins people on the board.

I have a 2002 Formula 353 FasTech twin 496 Mag HO's. Allstate $130/Month for 8 months of the year. Full year coverage - they only charge in 8 warmest months. Weird - but it works.

Insurance is the biggest scam going…probably spent 50-65k over the last 15 years boating. Never had a single claim. What a waste…
