Currently waiting for the 5am forecast than going to sleep while its cool and before power goes out, its flicked off a dozen times already .Brewed some coffee and put it in a thermos for the morning than onto Bloody Mary's in the pool.

155 mph sustained! 16-20 foot storm surge expected in SWFL. This is going to be devastating for many.

Yeah, this going to be a terrible one for SWFL, I got both of the houses prepped, lots of gasoline, and the genny is ready to run. Got to watch out for my mother-in-law who lives across the street...

Thinking about our Florida friends.

Weather nerds are saying that from the data they see, 155 is probably conservative. Storm surge of up to 16 feet. Catastrophic. Get out if you can.

We are ok on this side but it stepped up from yesterday. This is going to be a bad one, amazing how two weeks ago when it was nothing they said we had to watch it.

It’s usually good to be the initial target, because the track almost always changes. I’m out of town but my wife is at home in Sarasota and I almost had here go south to stay with friends in ft Myers. They live on Whiskey Creek just off the Caloosahatchee which is now ground zero. I would have never lived that move down. Lol
