I kept the live stream on while I was working yesterday. The storm really picked up after 4 pm. Seems the western side got heavily backloaded as the eastern side started to go over land. The Gulf had a lot of hot water to keep feeding the western side and it blew up from there. Crazy wind and blinding torrential rain. So much so that it caught the storm chasers and the streaming guys off guard.

Yep. Some areas are completely cut off and will be for some time.

We had a real easy time last night with the eastern side of the storm. No issues to speak of. The eye sat right over us for most of today, but now we're feeling the western side of the storm and it's significantly more intense. Still nothing like what SW Florida endured.

That is insane. You would think whoever owns those would have them taken away when first word storm was coming.

All those pictures are heartbreaking.

God bless .............
