No issues. I used the blue Trident exhaust hose that is a little more flexible than the stock merc hose. I had standard exahust tips, not the type that the tails go through the transom.

yes i have the standard tips as well, 496 been a little wider was not a issue? and mounts lined up, did not have to reposition mounts on stringers? thanks

Mounts are same. Only difference is heads are wider so it pushes the exhaust out slightly.
