IMO, the issue isn't the boat, there's a false sense of security that develops when running a cat because its so stable and so forgiving (to a point)...next thing you know youre running 3' seas with ease at over 100 mph. The more seat time, the more confidence, the more cockiness. it's just human nature and a friendly lil' kitty...until the cat bites back.

Cig Gladiators had that stigma for a long time where it was "known" to barrel roll but it was boat set-up (drives/tab settings) to conditions and task ie turning
