Default Howe2Live World Record Attempt

Been following How2Live on and off for the past 2 years. Their video of a nighttime cruise through the inland waters of Miami was extraordinary and captivating. I have watched it several times and I have added this adventure to my bucket list. If you haven’t seen it I encourage you to do so.

How2Live.

The attempt to break the record is in itself a undertaking of huge proportions. Looking back at much smaller distance record attempts around Long Island ie Stewart Hayim/Impressia, Hayim/Tomlinson, Matthew Gordon/Ed Dawson all were sanction by an organization with start and finish times verified. Gordon also had real time Kattack GPS transponders marking his route as his attempt progressed. Hayim used helicopter and aircraft to monitor his attempts and may have had GPS transponders also.

Hayim/Impressia

Gordon/Dawson

Hayim/Thomlinson.

This current endeavor has me in a quandary. Speaking with other offshore hi pro pleasure and race folks we expected to see live feed from various locations during the journey. Even still photos of marker points (ie inlets and lighthouses) time date stamped would be great. All we have right now is their nighttime second start, their video of finish in Saint Augustine and a ride around Miami excursion. There were no real time gps that the public could tune into and no sanctioning body to confirm results. To classify this as an attempt at a world record is invalid until proven otherwise.

This is a call out How2Live or anyone else to provide evidence to support their claims.

Not sure I understand the hating on the Howe's. Anyone putting themselves out there to bring us videos of cool boats/people is ok in my book. Heck, if they make a few bucks on the side doing it, great. Feel free to tune in or tune out. I've never met them, but I enjoy their content.

You may also be interested in their background story. Mrs. Howe is in law enforcement, thank you for your service. And he is a self made man from Maine. Ever hear of RipSaw tanks?

Considering they pretty much video the entire thing, it won't be too hard to prove. I'm sure they have fuel stop receipts as well.

I have suggested this the past few days, but have received a lot of resistance from their followers (sheep). It all seems like another attempt like their other videos to get more likes and followers. I'll give it to them, they are great actors at best but hardcore record setting offshore boaters....nah. I need more evidence as well. Just my .02

I’m not familiar with them but the whole set up looks like nothing more than social media construct.

I seen the above and don't understand, the Maine to Key west, is that even one that anyone has tried or they set a record because one didn't exist?
