During the seneca lake battle ship run the past weekend. The boat started to not want to go into gear. Shift lever operation is smooth. But at idle RPM's (800ish) it won't go into foward gear. If you give it more RPM's it goes in and stays in no problem. But once you back the throttle back down to idle it jumps back out. This is the first hard run since iv owned the boat but short trips on my local river gave me no problems It's a 27'Activator with a blower 598 and a BAM 1500 transmission connected to a SSM 5. This is my first non Bravo boat so I wasn't sure if this is something normal or if I should start digging into it further.
Thanks Kile

Not normal
I'd like to see a picture of the plumbing. If that's ok most likely it will need to come out.
