Agreed. I also love the "considering selling". You're either selling or your not. "Considering" means I smoked crack, my price, if listed, reflects this and I don't wanna get flamed for listing

Agreed on the people who don’t list a price!

Why would someone want to keep repeating what could be solved by posting it in the ad?
Most of the time they don’t read anything anyway.

Listed a pair of running, high hour 500EFI’s and the last comment I got before deleting the post was something telling me they were worth $4,500 together. It’s funny how many people on fb will say this site is dead but I’ve bought and sold way more parts using this site than I ever did on fb. Less views but better audience.

No price , I move on.
I`m not calling for a price , what is this 1985?
People are all over the place with prices , I`m not wasting 30 minutes talking to some dildo trying to convince me his high price is super great because blahblahblah . put that info in the ad it`s not hard

I always include as many pictures and information and the price, because I personally don't want some dildo calling and wasting my time

Price and accurate details eliminates a lot of time wasters because most of their stupid questions have already been answered. Give people the info up front and your ad should deliver ‘qualified’ buyers.

If you can’t post a price, it must be embarrassingly high (or embarrassingly low).

RR……IMO.

and that's fine, takes a couple mins to call, ask how much, ask if that's firm, if the answer is yes, say goodbye and move on.

It's funny because I always look just for the heck of it. Sometimes you see a price that must be "yes dear its for sell but no one is calling" to there ones that are kind of high but within range.

No pictures to show if it is junk or not seems in the boat world anyway, to mean it is a piece of junk.

The best, I seen a couple boats that had good pictures and a price that seemed to me to be a, "I want to sell this". They did not last long.

It's 2025. We have the internet. Basic research can give an informed buyer a good idea. I'm busy. Very busy. I don't want to waste time on sellers who have unreasonable expectations. When I sell or rent properties - the price is posted. Happy to discuss or negotiate from some sort of base but if we aren't in the same universe (which is the case with most boat buyers and sellers) it's silly to waste time.

In 2025 - I don't answer calls. We text and email now. Just like knocking on someones door. Who does that? You knock on my door, I'm not answering or at a minimum I'm taking a defensive position in my house anticipating an invasion. I silence all unknown calls because the spam is out of control. You want to sell something, post the price.

I like this boat. I like it a whole bunch. It's way out of my price range. No tire kickers here when they post the price. This is for the .1%ers.
