We go up every year(I think this will be our 8th year?). While we never participate in the actual run we have an awesome time on the Thursday lunch run, street party, and raft off.

Even if you don't get into the run itself I would highly recommend making the trip and enjoying the lake and festivities that come along with the poker run that weekend.

we stay at chalevoix municipal every year, there’s a launch about a mile away with truck and trailer parking. The marina will show sold out online but on may 1st they open up the t heads for that week. You have to call, they will never be available online.

Nice Pro-tip. Maybe I will haul my "sandbar" boat up if that's an option.

What about Harborage Marina? We get gas there sometimes, do they offer any transient for peeps not in the Poker Run?

From their website:
TRANSIENT SLIPS are available with reservations accepted 2 weeks prior to your arrival.

The yellow Nor Tech to the left of you was a cool boat in the day. Can't think of the name.

Yes a 50 ft Nor Tech with quad 625's called Masquerade. Owner was Larry Jones from Toronto. The boat no longer exists. It was stolen, stripped of most of the mechanicals and set on fire in Quebec. Larry and I did several runs together many years ago.

That’s too bad to hear, it was a cool boat! I met Larry that year and he let us on the boat to check it out, it was a big deal…He and the Apache were definitely the best boats that year.
