Would like to add the shootout at DS has been called off (or postponed until a wind free run could be made) for a lot less wind the times I have been there. |
Good news;
I spoke to Kirby today and he is on the road to recovery. Still very sore (broken ribs, sternum, and re-built hip that was shattered). There will be a ton of physical therapy and rebuilding but he seemed to be in good spirits and is very thankful for the girl and her crew that gave him CPR and pulled him from the water. If we can learn anything from this it is to wear a jacket in their honor. Joe |

My life jackets rules changed after Stefan's accident when we lost Nancy (neither of them was wearing life jackets), and I hope others do as well after this tragic accident where 3 lives were taken too early and 1 life will be changed forever.
