No Shoes / No Smoking/ No Glass containers,

Three easy rules, if you can't figure them out you don't belong on my boat anyway.

Clean Deck shoes or Soft sole shoes are allowed. I would never allow anyone on my deck without shoes. It's way too slippery otherwise. I am also very particular who I let on the deck. My rear seat has been covered with a beach towel since day one. The only time I have had shoes on the engine hatch has been at Poker Runs. I keep towels or rugs to keep it covered. Side by side uses a canvas cover over the engine hatch for Poker runs. Maybe he could post a picture.

I always ask others what they prefer before I board there boats. I find it's the guest you need to worry about and not other boat owners.

Great point about the deck candyman. The deck on my boat has been waxed so many times you need suction cups to stand up on it.

I like the rug idea for poker runs

h2owarrior,
You need to see a picture of Side by Sides boat with the snapped on canvas cover. It covers the complete engine hatch. It is the perfect solution for Poker runs. I think I would add some footprints that said step here to help guide people across. You could reinforce those areas also.

How rude! People should have enough respect to walk on your swim platform, not your hatch!

This is great, I can use this as clinical proof of how careful my passengers should really be.

Actually my boat is carpeted, but take GREAT care in stepping in and out. Shoes don't just go anywhere!
