...One night many years ago an early member of this board posted a REAL serious distress call. It sent shivers down my spine to read what she was going through.
Two members, Dan Lanza (RIP DanL) and his lady Becca, got in their car and drove an hour and a half to be good samaritans and help this lady....Whom they had never met !!!!!!
That's the real deal .....That's the quality of people that I am priviliged to meet through this web-site....How AWESOME is that?

Just renewed my membership tonight. I think it is 5 years now.
I have sold 2 boats and many parts on OSO. I have met many people that I now consider frends. This is a great site and makes the term "networking" a reality. Joe Murray

Thanks OSO for all the support and info. I been getting due to my recent car/boat accident.
While all the OSO members are great OSO has a longer reaching reputation then just us members and sponsors
Talking to my insurance adjuster to get my situation resolved, I got a totally different attitude once I mentioned that I am with OSO and there is a lot of "clout/information/influence" with OSO in the boating world. You can't buy reputation and respect like that and every penny OSO gets is well worth it.

99.9% of the members on OSO go above and beyond the camaraderie of the normal boating crowd. The advice and knowledge gained on this website is unmeasurable. Getting to know and communicate with the racers is truly a great experience!!!
