Skater. I was out yesterday in my 3 month old 32 yesterday. The boat runs with Arnesons or number 6. Stable, fun as hell, Real nice. I think the 32 with Arneson or 368 with sixes set standards.
A paint brush and bucket boat is defined in the marine industry as a polyester or Vinylester construction with gelcoat. A carbon fibre or Kevlar vacuum bagged Epoxy boat, painted is a different ball game. You can build a lot of paintbrush brush boats within the time it takes to build an epoxy boat. If you do not want to wait for an epoxy boat, buy the other. I would guess the Polyester boat would never compete with a Carbon boat on a race coarse.
