Bad news guys...Stones are brought on, in part, by beer....combination of the effects of CO2 and the diuretic (and therefore dehydrating) effect of the ETOH (alcohol), resulting in depletion of intravascular volume, decreases glomerular filtration, ureteral shrinkage and ultimately blockage.

I may not know doo about boats, but I know my stones.

That part is finally over...

The 1st thing that came to my mind when I entered the room.

The movie PORKYS when Bulla Ballbreaker "the woman gym teacher " and the scene when she grabbed the guy's Johnson and proceeded to pull it through the shower wall.

This nurse looked almost like her.

She told me to take a few deep breathes as she was about to remove the catheter.

She pulled on that like it was a sling shot and all I heard was SNAP!!!

I froze! I couldn't move. I was afraid to move. It was like I had to wait for everything to settle back into place.

She then proceeds to tell me that she hope everything works out ok today... or else we'll have to put it back in!!!

I'm sitting at home enjoying (???) my 9th stone in 15 years. x-rays say 7mm stone. Damn. Just passed a small one a month ago. Spent 4 hours in the e-room last night. Have the g-friend running all over town looking for a pharmacy that carries Dilaudid. It's an older drug not used much anymore. I can't take really strong narcotic drugs (I would have made a horrible junkie!!). Make me really sick. I'm out of what the e-room gave me last night....hope she gets back here soon.....

I am sorry to say, I remember the "snap" sound. Back in 97 I had surgery to remove a marble size cluster, a total blockage. After surgery they left a "stint" tube between my blader and kidney. About a week later they removed tube. After what seemed like week long fishing expedition, the doctor said "I know its in here somewhere", a few minuts later he hooked it and "snap", out it came. After they peeled me off the office celing, they sent me home. It is hard to comprehend after such abuse, but yes, it is still fully functional.

Ouch. Sorry to hear about that.

On a lighter note, the last time for me was a few thousand years ago in what is now called Israel... but this is a don't ask don't tell board

Damn Waterfoul!!! After that many you would think they would just flow through by now. Good Luck !!!

App, they ported me too with the stint. It's going to be in there for at least another 3 weeks.

Everything is fuctioning, just way too often. Does anyone have Anti-Viagra...

I think everything is still smasming out and doesn't know what function to do next. It's like a computer waitng to crash.
