it's got old open class fuel injected engines with #6's. he and the Sutphen averaged 90 MPH. I averaged 82. The P1 winner (a 30 AMT canopied boat) averaged 88.

Thumbs down that sucks

Ya know Ryan I watched you stick it out last year in P2 no matter how rough it got. John G you should be ashamed running that boat in P3. Big Oaks in P3 avg speed was faster that you Ryan in P2? - THAT SUCKS! BH

Randy,
I dont think VR-1 will be in Daytona...
They said they where only going to only Race St.Cloud this year.
I think they are tring to sell the baot and not interested in racing it right now....

Read somewhere on the board that Paul Whittier's and Pat Patel's SCL was present in St Cloud this weekend. Was wondering if anyone got a pic of the new boat that they could post on here if this is true. Congratulations to all the winners this weekend and Best of Luck to everyone this weekend in Daytona.

Thanks,
DPT

Yea I don't know if the posted speeds were right or not but, I was running 91-94 in the straightaways and avaraged 82 but I was told both p3 boats were making time on us, I guess they were going through the turns alot faster than me. I didn't get to pick my class I was put into a class, I wanted to run P3 but it was explained to me that the speed rules were based on OPTIMUM top speed. I ran 97 testing on Friday.

BH, LAST YEAR YOUR SUPER CHARGED CIGARETTE WENT TO A NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP WITH WELL OVER AN 89 MILE TOP SPEED IN A CLASS YOU DIDNT BELONG, MY FOUNTAIN HAD TWIN 900 HP MOTORS AND COULD RUN 94-96 AT 6200-6500 RPM AND THE BOAT WAS NOT RELIABLE. I DETUNED IT AND MADE A RELIABLE BOAT THAT COULD RUN 89MPH. 5700 RPMX1.68 RATIO@12%SLIP; YOU DO THE MATH. HOPE TO SEE YOU IN DAYTONA.

STICKER BOY, IF YOU HAD THE BALLS TO DRIVE YOUR SKATER YOU COULD RUN 100MPH+. LEARN HOW TO DRIVE OR SHUT UP!
