Is there a VIP offering like in the SBI race in June.. I think for $90 you get a good place to see the races and some cocktails.. Maybe ?

I'm bitter. I may have to trailer the fishboat down just to see the races, or more likely, just cancel my reservations. Let the business communtiy of Marathon get on the powers that be.

Sounds like the Corpus Christi issue. The organizers must have known about this before now...some notice would be appropriate to spectators. Marathon is popular because the viewing is(was) so good from the bridge

Yup, you are right, I know I am a dumb ass, AND a smart ass. I been following offshore racing in the Keys know for 20 years and it wouldn't be the first time that politics have played in to the sanctioning body war now would it?

I spoke with somone else about the DOT thing and they told me the story about a bridge in Miami falling. So the DOT is now inspecting all of the older bridges and that they just haven't gotten to the seven miler yet. So I WAS WRONG . SO GET THE F#%* OFF MY BACK. I grew up in the Keys I know how the system works.
