What's worse? Having people standing on the bridge watch a boat race or a herd of people running across the bridge?

April 26, in Marathon
22nd Annual Seven Mile Bridge Run
An estimated field of 1,500 runners participates in the annual foot race across the longest segmental bridge in the world.

You are right, that was the new bridge.

The Chamber of Commerce just told me that the old bridge will be closed except for those buying tickets to watch the race. She said she has the tickets for sale.

mmmm.........I don't think it's Big John. Oh so the bridge is ope you just have to pay to get on it? The Old bridge has a few sections taken out of it, the clost the new bridge for the running race. Has any on seen the movie True Lies with Arnold and Jaime Lee, well when the limo goes off of the blown up bridge, that is the old Seven Mile Bridge too.

Default Tough Spectating

That's why I'm going to trailer the boat down there...
Now I just need to find a ramp, and a place to stay or tie up.
I may be able to take a couple more spectators out with us....but the lil' Pantera won't take more than 6...

I'm looking forward to it...
Where is everybody staying???

Do they have slips there?
Got a phone number for the Blackfin?
I'd like to just get a slip and stay on the boat... (I'm cheap)

Does anybody know what MM Blackfin is at? We are staying at the Blue Water Resort at MM 48. Don't know anything about it, but we have reservations there. I didn't want to do like I did the Miami Boat Show, get down and have to spend all day looking for a room. Glad to hear we can get on the bridge, I was hating thinking about towing the fishboat all the way down there.

48.5 I think. . .

I stayed there for last year's race. About 1/2 way between the dry pits (airport) and the cranes.

Its no Ritz Carlton, but there is a decent bar.
