Just a few paragraphs out of the Keynoter :
Marathon's police commander, Monroe county Sheriffs office, Captain Bob Peryam, said the regular assignment of three deputies in marathon will be augmented with up to 15 next weekend. Peryam said plans include keeping spectators from the old seven mile bridge. The state Dept. of transportation refuse to allow the use of the bridge as a viewing platform after discovering structural corrosion on a span last summerl.

I believe there's a small area on the gulf side by the seven mile bridge that is public. I see people fishing there all the time when I go to Marathon. Otherwise maybe renting a boat wouldn't be such a bad idea.. ? Just a few suggestions but that seven mile thing really stinks...

I don't think the city of marathon has enough boats to rent for as many people as lee mills is saying will be attending. From my house to marathon costs over $550 Just in fuel. (TRIPLES) Can you tell me who to call.
