LOL! Whew! I get so worked up sometimes I can't type fast enough!
I don't have problems with people who just don't like a Cigarette boat. (although they are crazy
). I'm kidding, seriously.People need to realize Aronow is not coming back, ever. Neither is the old Michael Jordan. It doesn't mean that someone else can't do as good or even a better job continuing what he started.
Look at Magnum for example. Their new boats have absolutely no resemblence to Aronows Magnums. Now, would anyone not like to own a new Magnum??????? If not, they need an MRI!

d-hlaw:
80% of the 2003 is floor planned - you could get it for $ 295,000 w/ trailer - paint - 575's with sportmasters .
Scott:
Get your calculator working their son! We also bought a 53ft support trailer(stickered up w/ CRT graphics) and took it around to all the races. Of course the only reason we bought it was because we were getting sponsorship. Now who has that ocean front property in Arizona? BH

BH, If you can't sell that 38 for $295, then nobody is buying 2003 38 Cigs.
Thats a lot of boat and trailer for the price...
The new Cig market looks flat...so that 80 boat a year output might look a bit high.
Maybe around 50 or so.

Yea smoke and mirrors can do alot for your bottom line. I'm not knocking CPRT (Cigarette Poker Run Team). They build a sick ass boat. I just applied my new Outer Limits logos over the CPRT logos on our boat. It looks sweet! Anybody ready to get a 03 TG come to the dealership and check out ours - BH

IMO, if they were commited to racing it would just increase their product sales IE tshirts, hats and so on. while boat builders dont support the racing in the same sense car manufacture's do, i believe there is a small resurgence in this, Donzi is commited to racing, Formula, Nor-tech has stepped into the arena with the 36 scl boat, and that is certainly a company that doesnt need to improve it's product. The cigarette logo says racing, then they should support it.

Pete your right on the money! It is all for the good though. Where were we to move up this year with CRT? A canopied Gladiator? What a joke! - I'm over it. I just have to let the general public know what goes on with some of these high performance boat companies. CRT didn't screw me as bad as Warlock did though. Richy Rich yanked my dealership 1/2 way through my 1st year and left me with 3 boats in inventory. I had a 28 Cat that they sold me with a (8) year old motor in it. That was 1999 and I won (2) races in Factory 1 / a Championship and Rookie of The Year. I guess the screwing was my bonus - haha - BH
