The funny thing is, the people who ask the dumbest questions are the most appreciative of your time.

for two years i towed Batboats and you had to allow 1/2 an hour at every gas stop to explain the boat the business concept behind it, but it was always fun, and i think most people really appreicated that we took the time to talk to them.

Yeah me too

There is a guy like that that comes around our area once in a while he has a pretty bad a$$ boat but does not know a damn thing about it i.e...he had a trim line leaking outside the hull and was affraid to run the boat because he thought that he would blow a motor just because he saw oil in the water But if you asked him a q about his boat he just puffed his chest out and gave a snoody reply just like Mr. Scarab did to Packin

Oh well, what comes around goes around

For reasons not related to Hydrolic lines, that guy WILL blow his motor.

People like that piss me off too. I always take the time to answer questions at the gas station. (Hell I'm going to be there for a while anyway so why not entertain.) I run into people like that at the sandbar sometimes. What I do is wait till they are leaving. I follow them for a little bit and then blow by them (in my open fisherman which adds to the insult) and make it a point to go right back to the sandbar. It makes a statement.

Lately, I also ran across Mr. Scarab and a Mr. Top Gun, and hope to see them on the water this summer.

Whats wrong with 944's!!!

Foul ,
Don't tell me you wasted another motor?!?!? How did a faulty bilge pump damage your motor? You keep your boat on the trailer don't you ?

Packinair, you are right on the money with this topic. I ran into Keith Baker pullin out a customer's blown 32 skater out at the ramp in Grand Haven last summer, and he took the time to talk to me about the boat. To top it off, he complimented me on my 21' Laveycraft! Talk about puffing your chest out!! Been a fan of the Cat Can Do team ever since!!

Two weeks ago I was gassin' the Dually at the Shell.
This guy had an older brand B. It was clean.
So, I said Hi, and let him know that I thought his boat was clean.
Then he says something like " The boat is nice, but my motor will let me smoke anything out there." Then, I asked what he had, and how fast it'd go. He said something like "too fast for me to understand..."
So, F this guy and I drove off....to get my boat.
Yep, I saw him at the ramp!
I asked him how fast his boat was, again. No answer.
So, you can smoke anything out there? I ask...
No answer for Mr. A hole as he is staring at the drives on my boat....
He launched before us. Without comment.
I decided to go the same way he went...
I cought him before too long... In a No Wake zone.
Then there was a speed zone..
Then it was all over.
I hope I didn't get too much salt sppray on his clean old brand B...
