Ken:

I know you want a 6 inch hub, but don't worry about going to the short hub. I had a pair of bronze or brass (I forget which) spacers fabricated to go on behind the prop and in front of the nut so I could try a pair of 3-blades. Works fine. It was only about $40 to have them made. Not fre, but considering the 3-blade props cost about 1/3 as much as the 4-blades, it is cheap enough just to try a pair out.

P.S. -- Still had to go with the 4-blades.
