it used to be post 108 until a couple posts were deleted by the postee, thus making me look like the bad guy by taking shots that were un-provoked.

BTW.....Hot Duck.....You said it all in your last post. It's what it's all about -- enjoyment, no matter what your doing, as long as your out on the water having fun.

I blame myself for this one,,, I should have limited the choices to JUST CIG OR APACHE ONLY.

My conclusion is that cig would win hands down.

I didn't notice until you said that, but now that I look back there were two post that contained now defunct comments! That's cute, start throwing sh!t and then delete your post after the rebuttal...

I have two fact not fiction things to post.

1) 6-8 ft seas 30 mile run down the coast closest boat was 10 minutes behind, 38 Top Gun, next boat 20 minutes behind 38 Fever. All occupants soaking wet.

Here's the pic.

2) Not verbatim but you'll get the gist of the commentator here.....

We are now running over 90 mph out here in rough, rough seas....enough to stand the 50' Popeyes on its transom again & again & again.....it's absolutely amazing folks there's no one else out here.

Here's the photo

Jamie B -

I was incorrect in quoting speeds for the 42 OL at national. Try 875 Sterlings, 116 MPH. The boat will be featured in the upcoming month's powerboat performance trials.

Does this prove anything maybe that some are faster in varying water conditions, some look more updated, some fly more level, and some cost more than others. What it does prove, however, is that people are going to run what they want and that's, that. Why does it take bashing and chest pounding to prove that all statements can be overturned in different conditions. Just an opinion....and yes I can make it because I have run each and every boat that has been discussed in this thread maybe not the actual boats mentioned but like boats from the same manufacturer.

I also know of a boat 18-24 mos out that is coming to try and make some valid points will it succeed, who knows, but it is going to try.
