Hey Lapse of reason...

If you are 6'6" and plan on standing to drive...no way would you feel comfy at 100 with your waste above the windshield on a fountain.. stick to the OL even if for just the comfort reasons..

I hunch down a little in my Sonic and it's fine, I just need a little room to hunch. But sitting in the Sonic isn't bad. But I have been this tall since I was 15 so I'm use to it.

What do you care...if it's such a big deal, why doesn't OL use Merc, and Fountain will use Merc and see what the results are. After all, this is turning into a pissing contest instead of a speed record contest.

Merc doens't make engines as big as sterling because there isn't enough of a market and would be a waste of resources...period. Reggie is just remaining competitive with what Mike is using...so what?

You OL guys kill me, what a bunch of whiners for people who own a really nice product that most people will never be fortunate enough to be able to afford. Your boats are killer, why not be gracious about it? It shows a lot more class and confidence if you were.
