Saw the ad in Powerboat...42' Executioner with Twin staggered 496 HO Mercurys...will do 75mph+ It's a twin step hull..big brother to the 35' Executioner...with similiar power is going for $199,875....the 35'er goes for $149,000....with decent graphics too and matching interior.. Also have special financing with 20% down/240 mos $1099/mos for the 42'er.

I rode in a 42' Fountain with similiar power and it is actually pretty decent. This package is decent for my budget and usage in Lake St Clair where you need a bigger boat especially on weekends...and don't want to tie a lot of $$ up in the short season we have. It's just that I want a NEW boat...I bought a couple used boats and didn't make out too well mechanically...

...seems like a good deal to me....and 75+mph is something my insurance company can live with allowing a decent premium because of the size of the boat too..just waiting for my stock options to strike and I think this one's for me.

That monthly payment makes it affordable, if you got $40,000.00 to put down.
20 years though, man, that is a long ass time to pay off a boat. Essentially that would be like paying off an 1984 boat. Ouch!

Buy it, make payments for about 5 years then dump the boat
