It was waiting for a pair of Merc 1075's so there aren't any engines under it's hatches. It's going to be quite a surprise when they open those hatches!

When it comes to thefts of stuff like this one of two things will happen. Its stripped of everything they can get or its sent out of country in whole for resale. Criminals might be dumb, but they dont steal vehicles to repaint them and keep for themselves. Its all about the profits.

I would think it would be tough to get it out of the country without any power and being that big, you can't just throw it in a container and go. That should stick out like a sore thumb, no matter where is goes!!

Damn, talk about balls!! The F*&%ers should be keel-hauled - for starters!

Yep.

My guess is some central america destination, and these guys already have an organization in place at a port somewhere so that if it makes it there, its over. Buh bye.

Stupid Move or Great thieves? only time will tell. You have to admit that stealing an over-sized load, painted with bright colors that draws attention wherever you go, is stupid. But getting away with it, even this long is a feat in itself. And I do feel bad for the real owners!
