Will it yellow from the sun?

Take care of it the same way you take care of pigmented gel coat. If you use a marine wax or polish, it is okay. Don't use car wax. My Checkmates I have owned are cleared because of metal flake and It is as brite as can be. Even my '03 Mate is cleared over the white, black and purple, and the shine and color is as deep as can be.
