Teague talked to Jeff Harris and Fountain said they would ship 2 new tanks free of charge. Talked to my insurance and their looking into covering it. More to come. Teague did replace 2 tanks in a 38 Fever several years ago. Same deal. cracked at the seams. Gettin ready to cut out floor and rear box in bilge to remove. I'll post pics when we get started.

Man that sucks. As for the warrantee, In my industry there is a LOT of product that I deal with that warrantee starts at the date of shipping from the manufacturer. Crestron touch panels for example only have a 90 day warrantee. Imagine paying 8000 bucks for a touch panel and having it die 90 days later All the rest of thier stuff has a 5 year warantee. Customers never understand this so I wind up paying all repairs for 5 year on the touch panels. I know other dealers do not do this. I just figure it is part of the cost of doing business and also I made enough on the panels anyhow, and that is why I charge FULL retail. You should call other Fountain dealers and see if they can help you. Some one may.

Oh ya and prepair to be horrified when you see this project start. If your guy is good the boat will be good as new but when you see it happening it is VERY sad/scarry.
