changing oil
#11
Trader, I would not have it any other way
I did mine when they were out so it was a snap. Out the dip stick just doesn't seem to get all the oil, plus with most crap settling in the pan this will suck that first and clean out the big chunks of metal that are normal in a boat motor. Some are so big they plug the hose but most make it thru, I wonder where that metal comes from? Is this a by product of combustion? Maybe it is just normal

If you have pre lubers there should be a quick disconnect fitting between the pump and the oil filter. Disconnect it and turn on the pump.
At least that is the way mine is rigged. Quick easy changes!!!

Must be "Change your oil week". I just finished doing both of mine and Drive fluid changes as well. Now I have to break the law
and transport 7.5 gallons of used oil up the street to the garage!!
