Kurt Berger had mentioned that OPA is now interested in bringing back the racing to Point Pleasant Beach, NJ. The way it was when "Benihanna" sponsored the races. He announced an open invitation to all of the sanctioning bodies to come race at the Point Pleasant Beach Race.
We are a year away to plan this event. Can this happen? Will this happen?
Many racers and fans all want it.
Perhaps it may become a reality next season if Key West goes off without a hitch when all the sanctioning bodies show up to race there....
Let's hope all will come back to this famous race site.
I am sure I heard this correctly on the program, but if I for reason got it wrong, correct me and I'll remove this post....
