cost of # 6 dry 's and transmissions

Dealer cost on the #6 package is about $65K for two, I think new tranny's are about $3500 each.
I have owned both the number 6 hull and the standard hul with #6 on it from the factory. At times it could be exciting at other times it was fine.Actually the standard hull is a faster hull with more lift, Hence the problem it gets to much lift at high speeds in calm water and both side can't find the water at the same time. Can be a pretty violant chine at over 100.But usually only in calm water.
This was a 99 model and the yr does make a big difference because Reggie is always changing things.I'm not sure which hull the executioner is but if it the old hull with the small steps that is the best and most stable hull he ever built IMO and many others in the industries and will will do great at any speed.

The horsepower gained on dry sump Sixes vs. wet sump is 50-80 hp. Four gallons of oil is a lot to slosh around in the wet sump of the Six. I have witnessed boats with 7 mph gains just with that one change.
