That was before I had any grey either in my hair, or beard. Don't have a lot of grey, but a little is peeking through.

Re: 10 years ago
What kind of hull is in the background, A-911? Is that a 22' Velocity? "A" class was a great class back then-small and affordable boats. I bet an "A" boat back then, was more affordable then a P5 boat now.

They either won or they broke. Usually the drive was the weakest link... Lady L with Peter Meyer was serious competition for Fever. It's so cool how the two competitors came together as one and are still racing today! They have got to have set some kind of a record as the longest ones racing in the sport.... |

The Hustler, the last boat I raced in with them in Key West. 1994 or 1995  Key West causes memory loss.... :drink:

Re: 10 years ago
Did you race in the Hustler.I remember Rich and Mike Fiore rolling that boat.

Yes. I was in it for the World Championships in Key West. By that time they had some set up time on the boat, but I don't think Rich was ever confident in the boat after the few experiences he had with it.... The Fountain was the next boat for him.

After blowing so many engines in the prior years, 1991 we finally came out with a few titles from being consistent. We may not have always won, but we were finally finishing races and getting points.
