Last year, Debbie and I counted over 400 gators when we were headed back after the Miami Boat Show driving on the Tamiami Trail. The year before we counted 181 drving back on Alligator Alley. They are mating that time of year.

cpl of years ago a Gator got after our Lab in the creek where we live ...I keep a 20 Gauge just for varmits .....poped a shot at the gator ...he was still 100 feet or so out in the creek ....so you know it didnt hurt him or prob even hit him . A few mintues later the guy across the creek ( transplanted snow bird) ... called me on the phone raisin Hale about how the gators are endangered Spieces and how irresponcible I was ....Like Cuda said ....we are overrun by them .....
