You might just see me this summer, maybe I'll bring a name tag, but then again I didn't bring one to the OSO party.
I was also at the Florida power boat party, but didn't make the cig party, I was at the CROWBAR.(HOT CHICKS)

Jc
The 1600 needs 14-14.5 pounds of boost
The 1800 needs 18-18.5 pounds of boost

If they know that much about engines, they would probably build it themselves. Every customer gets a build sheet with all of the parts that are in their particular engines, all specs including, but not limited to, bearing clearances, ring gap, crank and cam endplay, torque specs, piston to cylinder clearance, cam degree etc. etc. etc. This is just in case they take it to one of our dealers or someone of their choice, instead of sending all the way back to us. They also get the dyno sheet for that motor.
Ive never bashed you guy's before. If I was out to bash you I would of did it in front of everyone at the show.
The only reason I gave you s##t was because of all the secrets, and all of the question avoiding, if you look I never asked you for cam specs. of even head flow. Just about the lifters and head gaskets.
I don't think keeping the lifters a secret will help you in engine manuf. comp., but thats your choice.
If your worried about people coping your engine tell them everything they need to know to fail, and if there stupid they will follow every word you say.

TMP (steven), you started the thread. I would just delete it so your jealous competition can go to bed. However it has made for some good ol' OSO reading. Just like the old days, huh, Jeff?

I've talked to Jassby and Randy Sweers and both have been very positive about your engines. We are definitely interested in seeing what you can stuff under our engine hatches this next year as well.

At least we know who you are and how to reach you. Talk to you next
week, Pat.

Hey Pat,
Glad to see you on here. We would love to build some motors for that new boat. Look forward to hearing from you soon. You certainly know how to reach us.

Yeah, the wife's out of town and I have no life so I was checking out the board and saw you were the whipping boy today.

I feel your pain, my brother.

Nice job with the Northechs. You've done well.

You know what's up with us so let's see what we can put together for this coming year. Jassby told me you would install the first three sets for free if we used his name. Is this true?

I've no horse in this race either, Steve I have spoken to you and liked what you said, your customers seem to be very happy and you now have the ear of quality people like Pat from AT/Chief, and Terry at Nortech.

JC, I enjoy your posts as well, sense of humor is great and by working for Zul, obviously you have a great set of hands and mind to complement his shop.

Mr. Nobody, choosing to rmain anon is fine, and I thinnk that your curiosity has been somewhat satisfied, although High HP claims have always been met with cynicism and disbelief as long as drag racing and tests of speed have been around. It's that same pioneering spirit that made Vic Edelbrock Sr and the likes of Don Garlits strive for the next level. How many people looked at the original swamp rat with looks of disdain, to now have TF cars well over 300mph.
Yes TMP does come on here and talk about their new developments and they are entitled to their trade secrets. I seem to remember robert yates leaving a building with a manifold wrapped to keep from prying eyes. If everyone stuck to the same guidelines all the time where would the Gentry Eagle fit in? Who would set the next barrier to be broken?

I see 3 people that have knowledge and a desire to build high HP, sure egos are envolved, but it's that same drive that makes each of you wanting to win the next race or poker run. We all know no matter how good something is built, $hit happens, many a top race cars sat on a line cause of a smoked clutch, drag boats throw belts and lose races as well.
