If I can give you guy's advise(not that you would want it from me), don't try to hide what's in your motors or people will always be skeptical. Just tell the truth and people will respect you more for that.

I love the Cometics and would not use anything else in big hp applications. I am not afraid to answer basic questions about the motors, but I will not give away cam specs etc. because it took a long time to hit it right. It cost a lot of time and money and I won't give it away. I love to talk about motors and boats and could do it all day. I don't have a lot of time to spend on the computer because I am so busy. The last set of 1200/1400 for the 43 Nortech took me almost 400 man hours from start to finish. I am very meticulous, but it pays in the end. I will be glad to answer any questions over the phone. Just call the shop.

I dont have a dog in this fight either, but it seems to me everyone seems to be jumping the gun on calling BS. Up to date, everything TMPs stated has been non-disputed by their customers (even the 1400's that were dyno'd, which was posted on here). Only people I see disputing anything, are the ones pi$$ed off beacuse TMP doesnt want to get into specific details about the engine.
These guys have done nothing but be upfront with anyone they have dealt with, if you doubt them, go down to see them, they have extended the invitation plenty of times.
Bottom line...I havent seen any customers complain, only other engine builders.

Nobody, not trying to hide what is in the engine. Most customers don't know or don't care about the lifters or the camshaft or the muffler bearing as long as it runs, or if by some chance the thing breaks that we will fix it. If they know that much about engines, they would probably build it themselves. Every customer gets a build sheet with all of the parts that are in their particular engines, all specs including, but not limited to, bearing clearances, ring gap, crank and cam endplay, torque specs, piston to cylinder clearance, cam degree etc. etc. etc. This is just in case they take it to one of our dealers or someone of their choice, instead of sending all the way back to us. They also get the dyno sheet for that motor.
