East coast B- if you just disconnected the lines at the pump then yes just cycle up and down a little and it will remove the air.Tommy just rember not to screw the filler plug all the way down.I keep mine so I can see the o ring above the threads of the fill hole.

OK, so I operate it up and down to get the air out... AND... the dip stick doesn't get screwed in all the way tight.. correct??? Keep the dip stick loose so the air can escape?? Thanks for your help, REALLY appreciate it!

it is self bleeding, if you disconnect the line to bleed unless you put them in a bottle with fluid in it you will suck air into the system, just hook everything up and cycle up and down holding for a min at the end of each cycle
