Default Bravo Steering Arn Loose ? Here's a Fix

Thought I'd share this and it worked MINT.
A few years ago when I stripped the transom on the Cig, everything was replaced. No matter how much you tighten the steering arm they loosen up over time. A kit is available to drill 2 holes on each side of the gimbal housing Not to mention the plastic plugs look like crap...BS!
If the nut and bolt isn't to rusty, this is what I did.

Take 3 5/8's wrenchs. One to hold the the bolt if necessary. Sometimes it may be rusted into place & not needed. Next, take 2 differant brand 12 point wrenchs. I used a snap on and an old s&k. I took the s&k to the bench grinder & nothed the top where it would come into contact with the transom. Take either of the 2 wrenchs & crank it down to tighten till it bottoms out. Take the other wrench & get a bite on the nut till it bottoms out. Keep alternating wrenchs till its tight & wooolah!
It worked mint for & thought I'd share this. Keep in mind that if the nut is really rusty you may need to use 2 differant 6 point wrenchs & may work.
