If you know of someone with the same hull and power with an extension box that works well, I'd consider it. Most everyone has had bad luck with extension boxes on my Checkmate.

BMax's new HT is garanteed to 950hp/tq I have been running the Poker run edition for 3 year with good luck. I have the new Ht on order now

B-Max's are the shiznit. Wait until you see one in person if you haven't already, they dwarf a regular Bravo style drive. I think the gears are over 5 inches instead of 3. The 4X4 and 1000 are pretty nice too but will need the tranny in the extension box.
