Do you have the mechanical fuel pump on the sea pump?

If the coil doesnt do it, and the pump is not there,,, could be vapor lock.

There is a bulliten and update to install a pump.

Finally ran the boat again last night after a few other mishaps.........After about 10 minutes of running, we stopped and check for a heated up coil.....didn't seam overly hot and the motor was idleing fine. We figured maybe run a little longer and started to run again and the motor died.

Checked the coil for spark and it still seamed fine.....after messin around with the coil for a few minutes the boat fire up and we ran to port. Idled to the dock after the boat was idleing in the dock for a few minutes, it died again. After trying a few other options the boat started again at the dock.

A few things I noticed was lack of fuel pressure reading on the guage, engine runs around 4-5 psi......reading was 0-1 psi...

Don't know if the guages are accurate the other motors fuel pressure guage reads around 12 psi..........

We're not thinkin it's the coil....more of a fuel problem....motor seams to want to turn over and starts to......but dies before it gets goin.....

When the engine is cold it fires right up, no questions........

Thanks again

I would really check out your vst resivoir, fuel pump & even the pick up in the fuel tank.. It may have some junk floating around that gets stuck on the pick up after a while.. Jamie / Lakeside

The motor when cold fires right away............no question

Could this still be the coil???

Should I just change all the wires, etc...................start from there??

Get a can of starting Fluid, after the engine dies, shoot a little in the air intake and if it fires right away it will be fuel related.
