Another question for everyone........

The housing that the fule pump arm is in.........should this be filled with any type of lubricant???? Gear lube???

Fill it with drive lube.

I just lost a fuel pump on my 93 efi. (Rebuilt the port, didn't rebuild stb on purpose- wanted to make sure the rebuild kit worked! ) Starboard pump died ten minutes later! Luckily I found one on the water, and intalled it dockside and saved the day...

My mechanic says the fuel pumps are dying like flies due to the ethanol in the fuel. I now carry a spare on board at all times.
New pump was $160. Kit was $42.

Well here's the update......finally got the boat on the open water yesterday...Ran good and all systems were lookin good too....

Keepin my fingers crossed for the run saturday................
