I have used the sludge disoving addative several times. I can't remember the name of it but I do remember that it was easily available at most auto parts stores.

Hopefully, I'll never have to go thru that excercise again

My question would be with 2 oil changes should I still be getting the milky appearance? I hope to god the headers are not leaking again. I am going to change the oil again this weekend and see what happens. Thanks Mike

Most of the water residue will steam off as you run the boat but make sure you change the oil no less then 3 times

Re: water found in oil, any hope for engine?
Will it steam off thru the exhaust ? I am experiencing the same thing when my innercooler blew. It is steaming like crazy, is it a result of the water in the oil? Steams bad at start up but gets very mild after a few minutes.? How can I tell if a intake manifold gasket blew or a head gasket blew/ ? I wa wide open and the rpms wentto 1500. Im thinking when the cooler blew it deluted the gas. It runs fine now but steams like crazy and the inner cooler is not even plumbed yet ..
