Not sure....I haven't even been on the boat yet. I have been told 98 when it was first installed (boat was new), I've heard near 95 (sometime after it was delivered), and I was told 85 on the water last week with the drives tucked IN!!! (can't verify any of this). It is a M3 intercooled system running un-known boost. Probably 5-8 PSI. Like I said I will be selling the entire Prochrager systems this fall and going back N/A EFI.
Stock 382 with 500's should run 74, a new 382 w/ 600's runs 84, the 700's supposedly hits 93.

Keep carb (Holley 800)
Keep intake (Dart)
Cast Iron heads ported by Jim Valeko or New Aluminum AFR's with valvetrain spec'd by RmBuilder
Cam by RmBuilder
Shortblock can be stock - just make sure it is fresh.

=====================
Exhaust is important and expensive. Do this correctly.

======================
Prop to where engine makes peak hp. Do not lug it by propping in between torque peak and hp peak.

Bringing this back up to see if anyone has started their build I am meeting with my engine guy this weekend. I am looking to make between 600-650 from my 502. I would like to hit aprox upper 70's in a 29 single scarab running a 28 pitch prop.

No, but I did buy the base stuff. I'll probably just change springs, headgaskets, clean it up, and call it good.
